Vendors making stupid eBook decisions, yet again

In Dan Messer’s blog entry, Penguin Pilfers Public, Prefers Pointless Practices, he reflects on the latest ridiculous eBook vendor decision:  Penguin’s decision to restrict library use of their eBooks on Overdrive.

It’s a bit tiring, seeing vendors view libraries as a “potential crime waiting to happen.”  They don’t know what that crime is, or how it will happen, but they know it will.  They feel this way so faithfully that they make ridiculous decisions like the one made by Penguin recently.

To eBook publisher’s:  Libraries are not your enemies!
